Welcome

You may already be familiar with HealthCare PSI’s name. Founded as a personal advocacy work in 2008, HealthCare PSI is now a national 501(c)3 organization. Our mission: We work on issues to positively affect patient outcomes, seek to improve the public health, and educate the public about preventable medical harm.

Our grassroots organization is comprised of men and women from all walks of life – film & tv professionals, business people, physicians, researchers, nurses and other frontline caregivers, attorneys, journalists, teachers, parents, retirees. We have one thing in common – we are passionate about the quality of patient care.

We are not supported by, or affiliated with, any political party, candidate or healthcare coverage or payment agenda. When the government talks about healthcare, their focus is on the money – healthcare costs and payment. Our focus is on patients and the quality of care they receive from healthcare providers.

The World Health Organization now ranks the quality of patient care in the United States at #37 – right behind Costa Rica. We have a long way to go to restore safe, reliable healthcare to all people. We believe we can improve patient care by engaging in early intervention and public education for some of the most commonly misdiagnosed conditions affecting large segments of the population.

HealthCare PSI invites patient advocates to querry us about our current programs and join us in our efforts. We are proud to work with some of the most compassionate and effective patient advocates in North America, and look forward to collaborating with others on healthcare issues that affect people around the globe.

We hope you find tools and resources here to enlighten, inspire and guide you to the answers you seek. Browse the website. Read our blog. Follow us on Twitter. Send us an email. Your questions and comments are always welcome.
